How to: Create new protocols in the Incision Assist Manager

Modified on Mon, 8 Jul at 2:54 PM

For our more experienced editors who are ready to take the reins of protocol creation into their own hands, creating new protocols is the next frontier. While Incision initially provided the protocols to kickstart the journey, the time inevitably comes for you to wield the power of protocol creation from scratch. The process is streamlined and straightforward.

Simply navigate to the '+ New Procedure' within the Incision Assist Manager (1). From there, select your desired procedure from the extensive database (2), and with just a few clicks, your custom protocol takes shape. There are two important things to remember. First, you must always enter a name for your protocol; this is necessary to save it. The name of the protocol can be the same as the name of the procedure if you prefer. Additionally, it is important to always link your procedure to a specialty. This ensures visibility within the app!

However, should you encounter a procedure missing from the list, don't hesitate to reach out to Incision via implementation@incision.care. Incision will add the procedure to the database, so you can create the protocol afterwards.

With the ability to craft custom protocols, you're empowered to shape the future of surgical practice and drive innovation within your field.
