How to Add and Manage Postoperative Instructions in the Incision Assist Manager

This guide explains how to add and manage information in the Postoperative Information tab of the Incision Assist Manager.

Adding Postoperative Instructions

  • Navigate to the Desired ProtocolOpen the protocol where you want to include postoperative details.
  • Access the Postoperative Instructions TabIn the left-hand menu, click on Postoperative Instructions.


Adding Content

  • Text Box:

    • Use the text box to outline postoperative instructions and guidelines. Ensure the information is clear and comprehensive. You can also edit text to be bold, underlined, or italic. 

  • Images and Documentation:

    • You can upload images or link to external documentation to enhance the instructions. This provides additional clarity for the postoperative process.

Saving and Publishing

  • Save Your ChangesClick 'Save Changes'/'Save & Publish' at the bottom left to store your updates.

  • Publish Your UpdatesWhen you’re satisfied with the content, click 'Publish' to make the edits visible in the Incision Assist app and Assist web.


By using the Postoperative Instructions tab, you can ensure that all necessary postoperative information is available to your colleagues, supporting consistent and high-quality patient care.
